Has anyone gotten preggo on the shot?

I’ve been on the depo shot for 2 1/2 years, never had any side effects or bleeding. It has stopped my periods altogether, and I’m having preggo symptoms, but have no period to tell me if I’m late. I have VERY tender to the touch breasts, a very faint sick to my stomach feeling, more tired than usual, peeing a little more frequently, some mild cramping, and headaces. I went to ob 4 days ago and neg test and she did a pelvic and said she didn’t feel any enlargment of the uterus, and said I didn’t need a blood test, since then my boobs are hurting even more. what is going on? I’ve heard that it is near impossible to conceive while on the shot, has anyone gotten preggo on the shot, or have any opinions or advice?

Recently ive noticed what seems to be an enlargment of my Montgomery’s tubercules glands on my breasts (which have also been very tender and feel swollen). I currently have an IUD and have had it for 2 yrs now (Mirena). Ive never experienced any hormonal imbalances..never have suffered from pms symptoms before a period..well I actually havent had a period in 2 years due to the IUD. Ive had one baby already..these signs are pointing towards pregnancy..could it be?..with my IUD in place?
any advice/experiences are wellcomed!!
i took a preg test (ept) which had only one faint faint negaive sign..maybe its too soon..my breasts were hurting like this at least a week be4 a preg test said positve with my first baby.

It’s possible. The IUD doesn’t have the highest percentage of effectiveness as other forms of birth control. You’ll have to get a pregnancy test to be sure.

Hello people, I really would apprechiate all your help on this. Ok, i have been about just over 2 weeks late for the past like couple of months and then i have had a normal true period. but i am now over 4 weeks late and i have spotted a very light pinky colour after i have been for a wee and wiped myself, it is a very little amount, i have never had it before and i wonder what is up with me? i have been to the docs and took 2 urine preg tests but no blood tests and they both came back as negative. please give me all the help you can, thank you so much xxx p.s i wonder if i am pregnant or not because i have lots of preg symptoms such as, enlargment of breasts, back ache, feeling sick, tiredness, headaches and odd cramps.

I got my first and LAST depo shot on April 3, 2008. I was due for another shot on June 25, 2008 but I didn’t go get it. Anyway, during the three months that the depo was in active in my system, I still got a monthly period.

After I didn’t take the shot my cycles became longer. For instance, I had a period on July 29, 2008 that last for about 8 days. 7 days later I got another period. It did the same thing the next month and the month after…so I took it that this was going to be the rregular thing for me now (getting two periods during an entire 43-44 day cycle).

Well, my husband and I have had sex at least 10-15 times since October 22, 2008 (unprotected sex). It is now cycle day 26. My “usual” period that comes around cycle day 16 didn’t show up. I did have sex during my period, at the end of the period and when there was no period. So I don’t know if I ovulated or not /if I got pregnant.

I have been having really bad cramps, increased discharge, breast enlargment, and a strange pulling from the right side and middle of my pelvis.

Could I have conceived..I know this is kinda confusing. But my “usual” period didn’t show up, so I am confused too..and NO I am not on the depo shot now.

Oh I have taken 3 hpt since Saturday and they were all negative…am I testing too soon???

Go to a doc and get checked out if you don’t want to go know take a test in about 2 weeks again. the depo shot can give you milk and it will give you cracy periods and weight gain. Even though you haven’t had a depo shot again it stays in you system for 1 year. Some people try to have a baby after a woman has a depo and it can take up to three years

I had sex on my period, unprotected and he ejaculated inside, for several days from the 4th until the 7th therefore I may be pregnant although I may have conceived on or a little after my period.
I had symptoms like crazy:

Breasts tenderness (ENLARGMENT)

But then, I got my period.
Which only lasted 3 days, which is very rare.
Can I still be pregnant?
Considering, I had SEX or could have CONCEIVED on or a little after my period?
Can someone tell me if you’ve experienced this, and what I should do, thanks.

Everyone body isn’t the same so there’s really not an answer for your question.. Some people have regular cycles, some just spot, and some don’t have cycles at all..! I have seen from experience, MY MOM! She was pregnant and didn’t know it because she was having her regular cycle, heavy and 4-5 days long..! She didn’t have any pregnancy symptoms nor did she gain any weight.. She thought she was constipated one day and went to the hospital and come to find out she was in labor, 8 months, with an baby girl, that weighed 4lbs and 7oz’s..! GOOD LUCK!

my son was a very heavy eater when he was a baby, and after breat feeding him, i was left with two wizened nuts. i dont want to do surgery, what i want are herbal or natural remedies for breast firming and maybe enlargment. i want some thing that would not affect my a bility to lactate properly when next i give birth. and while we are at it, i also want ideas (natural/herbal of course) to tighten up my love tunnel. any ideas?

however, according to normal male/female physiology;

growing beard (facial hair) is a male secondary sex characteristic, as well as enlargment of breasts is female secondary sex characteristics !!

i doubt any male not liking ‘enlarged boobs’ !!! so why majority of females dont like beards ?

i think both hav it even but look at these facts.
girls get:
period and enlargment of breast. i hate wen some of them complain sayin o we get preg. u dont gotta get preg and go thro that but some also go oh r lives r ful of drama.its not eny1s life could b ful of drama if they want it to b.but if u dont wanna mak drama and dont get preg then al u wil hav 2 deal wit is the period.but thats no big deal cause they hav very protective fresh scented comfortable tamponds and pads that keep us fresh and clean and smelling good but al u gotta do is b clean.boys gota get:
boners hair al over their bodies enlargment breast, but so wat we al do,wetdreams and voice lowering.so ppl say girls got it harder but most who say r girls and most boys say boys got it harder but both r even and everyone should be happy of who they are but i just want to no who you think has it easier but explain why you feel that way.:)

Girls only have it hard because they make life hard for themselves. Always starting drama and acting like skanks. they always have some underlying plan to everything they do so they can get ahead and **** people over, and they can never just be straight up honest.

With girls comfortable;e tampons and pads??? wtf and clean smelling pads and tampons? first of all the scented gives you a irritation… and have fun with the feeling of blood coming out when it is that month. Oh and worrying about if you are going to bleed at school, girls have to plan their day because of their period. We get hair all over out bodies too. We have to do our hair put make up on and find something cute to wear for school, when guys just put on what they wore yesterday. Not every guy gets wet dreams and also voice changing, they usually think it is a joke. Guys make fun of girls if they haven’t hit puberty (flat chested) yet. Or if they hit it too young they make fun of their large breasts.

I can only speak for myself, so I cannot say what is “normal” or not as everyone is different. However I had my depo shot in Feb 6 weeks after I had my son. I never went back for my second shot. So from May and after had no b/c. I got pregnant in September, 4 months after last injection. I hadn’t regulated with my periods yet either, they just kind of came and went as they pleased. So I had to have an u/s to determine where I was at in the pregnancy. So for me it was pretty immediate. Good luck
